Mount Kenya leaders are pushing for a rigorous process to identify their preferred 2022 presidential candidate,under the plans spearheaded by the Mt Kenya unity forum, each of the leading hopeful will have to explain how he will meet the region need and realise it's aspiration.
This comes after the , leaders plans to confront a meeting, which will include roundtable talks , that the forum will announce its best bet for the next general election presidence, between deputy president William Samoel Ruto and ODM Leader RAILA ODINGA.
The forum which is planned to ,unveil a framework that will anchor political and economic talks with deputy president William Samoel Ruto and ODM Leader RAILA ODINGA as the 2022, campaign take shape.
This comes after senior members of MKUF lead by Mwangi Kiunjuri , Martha Karua , Charity Ngilu Mwangi wa Iria among others,laid a major meeting would be convened in the two weeks time to unvoil the terms of engagement ahead of the roundtable talks.
