The second president of Kenya apparently started his life with his wife Lena at the Delamere Flats, according to The PEOPLES Daily.

The ground level of the Delamere Flats, which were formerly controlled by the disbanded Municipal Council of Nakuru, was where Moi and his family lived.

According to the report, Moi and the other tenants of the two-bedroom apartment used to pay Sh180 per month.

When Moi was assigned to the Home Affairs Cabinet, it was at these flats that he received his first official position.
