“Shut Up? I'm Not Your Boyfriend" Angry Duale Tells Raila's Close Ally Live On Camera

Garissa Township member of parliament Aden Duale and Kisumu woman representative Rosa Buyu exchanged harsh words in a heated debate in the National Assembly yesterday.

The Parliamentarians were discussing the state of insecurity in the Northern parts of Kenya, and when Duale rose to speak, he accused Buyu of shouting him down bringing a heated debate between the two. Angry Duale said "Those of us who do not come from Northern Kenya, please do not play party politics... Don't shout at me, I am not your boyfriend."

Members watched as Buyu rose on a point of order and questioned Duale's statement. "Madam speaker, is the honorable member in order to suggest that I, Rosa Buyu, wants him as a girlfriend?" she posed forcing the speaker to Intervene. However, unapologetic Duale asked the woman rep to 'shut up' while insisting he didn't need a girlfriend. It was not the first time Duale caused a stir.
