What The Ukambani People Gave DP Ruto As A Gift During His Visit Today

Today, the deputy president of the republic of Kenya Dr William Samoe Ruto took his campaign to Ukambani region which is believed to be Kalonzo Musyoka's political stronghold. The country's second in command was accompanied by his close allies from the region lead by the UDA chairman, hon Johnstone Muthama, the former senator of Machakos county where they sold their agenda to the people of Ukambani.

Now, it was during this visit when the residents of makueni county turned up in large number to welcome Dp Ruto. As a sign of their welcoming, the residents of Ukambani decided to give a Cabbage to Dp Ruto as a gift. Upon seeing it, Dp Ruto asked his security to allow those people who were carrying this cabbage to present their gift.

Ruto is expected to continue with his campaigns in the region for some few days where he is seeking to get a good number of votes from this region which might boost his presidential ambitions. Here are some of the photos taken during the event.
