"Hapa Haupati Kitu" Residents To DP Ruto As Kenya Kwanza Team Storms Raila's New Political Backyard

In the country, the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta is gaining political intensity. Raila Odinga, Prof. George Wajackhoya, David Wahiga, and Kenya Kwanza's Deputy President William Ruto are among the frontrunners for the top seat as candidates for the Azimio-One Kenyan presidency. The Kenya Kwanza team has taken their campaigns to Raila Odinga's new political garden in Azimio la Umoja in an effort to garner support for their presidential candidate ahead of the fast-approaching August elections.

Through a tweet from hustlers country leader, Deputy President William Ruto alerted the public of the ongoing Kenya Kwanza Kitui county economic forum at Matinyani grounds, Kitui west.

The conference is led by Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Kilifi governor Amason Kingi, Machakos governor Alfred Mutua, UDA gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Mueke, MCAs, and a host of other hopefuls from around the nation.

The meeting in what appeared to be Raila Odinga's political backyard, Kalonzo Musyoka's native country and zone, elicited conflicting political emotions from Kenyans, given that Kalonzo Musyoka is now in Azimio. Residents responded as shown below.

Hii ni native land, hapa hupati kitu.

John: Two days remain till the launch of the manifesto, and you have not had such a forum in Nyanza's counties, or their challenges will be represented on your behalf.
