The EALA member of Parliament Kanini Kega has explained of how the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was betrayed in a secret Statehouse meeting. Kega is clear that Mt Kenya MPs agreed to support two people from Rift Valley and two others from EALA but such was sabotaged in Statehouse.

Kanini Kega is clear that Rift Valley MPs had held a secret to betray Mt Kenya region and that's why a section of Kenya Kwanza MPs supported him in protest. It's clear to Kanini Kega that it's Gachagua who rallied MPs to support his political course.
Kanini Kega is clear that the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was betrayed in statehouse and that's very telling. He is clear that Mt Kenya region will firmly and ruthlessly defend it's political interests in Kenya Kwanza.
According to Kanini Kega, he is yet to know why president William Ruto decided to betray Mt Kenya on EALA nomination yet they supported him heavily. According to Kega, Ruto must be careful because Mt Kenya region might revolt.
