"I Am Not Interested In Any Job" Martha Karua Responded To KKA Ally Wants To Secure Job For Her

One of President Ruto's close allies offered to look for employment opportunities within the Kenya Kwanza government, and Martha Karua has responded.

Speaking in Tharaka Nithi at a party official's funeral, Karua rejected the offer saying she is happy with her oversight position in opposition and that she feels at ease in that position.

I have no interest in working for the government. While speaking at the funeral for Mr. Miriti Boore, a party official, Ms. Karua said, "The work of opposition is enough for me and I am comfortable with it."

This comes after John Mbabu an MCA from Tharaka Nithi county, urged Chuka MP Patrick Munene to ask President Ruto to offer Martha Karua a job in his administration. Mbabu had argued that Karua is a great leader who shouldn't be allowed to sit idle for the next five years because her political career may end if she isn't in the political spotlight.
