Senator Hon Ledama ole Kina is a vibrant young politician from Narok county. He is well known to be a defender of justice and upholding of the rule of law.
Being a member of the Orange Democratic Movement party and an elected senator through the same party, senator Ole Kina has been a strong and an emphatic supporter of the Orange party and a vocal defender of its party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga.
However, he's been sending worrying signals concerning his political future and affiliation.
Because of his wittiness and eloquence, political affiliations rival to the orange party have been trying to woo him to their side.
"There was a time that you were being fought in ODM and your chairmanship was taken by Ongeri and you know ODM does not know your importance and your worth, " said nominated MP David Sankok.
" Very soon, we as hustlers, we will poach you, we will take you, we will hustle with you, to make sure that hustlers are in the right place because we know your worth, " concluded Sankok.
Yesterday, together with United Democratic Alliance party chairman Hon Johnstone Muthama and other party officials, senator Ole Kina went to visit former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko at Gigiri police station.
Even though this mission was not successful, Ole Kina did not give up. He chose to follow the embattled governor Mike Sonko after he was transferred to the Shimo la Tewa prison in Mombasa this time gaining access to him. This is after he chose to decline to accompany his party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga to Turkana.
The former premier Raila Odinga is touring the North Rift to popularize and drum up support for the Building Bridges Initiative report.
