Kakamega County Governor Fernandes Barasa has called upon all arms to work together for better prosperity of Kakamega County. Today he presided over the opening of a 5-day induction workshop of MCAS as they constituted the house leadership.
Fernandes Barasa: For Kakamega to move forward, their is need for all arms of the County Government to work together. In this spirit, today I presided over the opening of a 5-day induction workshop of MCAS, where they constituted the house leadership.
Taking it social media platforms he congratulated all endorsed colleagues in Assembly.
"I wish to congratulate all those endorsed their colleagues to lead the Assembly and various committees, and pledge to work with the new leadership to spur economic growth and development in our county", stated Fernandes Barasa.
The following are the colleagus that have been endorsed to the Assembly and various committees.
Hon Philip Maina, Marama Central will be the leader of the Majority. Hon David Ndakwa, West Kabras, will serve as leader of Minority.
Hon Gladys Omukongolo, Idakho North, will be the Majority Whip. Hon Elphas Shilosio, Murhanda, will be Assembly Service Board. Hon Brian Mafunga, Likuyani will be chair of roads.
