Irungu Kangata Reveals President Uhuru's Plan On Ruto In Regard To BBI

As the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) politics take over the Kenya's political scenes ahead of the 2022 general elections, the Leader of the Majority in the Senate, Hon. Irungu Kanata, who also doubles up as the Muranga County Senator has revealed president Uhuru's plan for the Deputy President, William Ruto on matters concerning the BBI report.

The Senate Leader of Majority Irungu Kang'ata confirmed that president Uhuru Kenyatta is in full control of the Building Bridges Initiative report document and that he is working round the clock to ensure that he brings the deputy president in support of the report despite the unrelenting opposition from the former Prime Minister's camp.

Ruto had taken a different path on the BBI report and its reccomendations, strongly opposing the document and giving reccomendations of ammending it before it's taken to the citizens for approval through a referendum.

Following his stand, the Deputy President fell short of the president's favour and made the two key Jubilee political bigwigs to fall apart due to their different political stand on the BBI report.

As per Hon. Irungu Kangata's remarks, It's just aatter of time since the president is reaching out for the deputy president to support the BBI report so that they can sail together towards the 2022 general elections and beyond.
