Chepalungu sub county residents have a reason to smile after officials from KERRA began demarcation of the Kyogong Chebunyo road . The long awaited road at the heart of the sub county will serve a huge difference to the residents .
The road was launched by the deputy president in 2017 with promises of being constructed soon enough which has translated to years .
Confirming the progress the constituency MP Gideon Koskei said the officials are in the final touches of upgrading the road .
"Today KERRA officials led by Jason beacon the road in preparation for proper demarcation of the road and road reserve to pave way for the improvement of Kyogong- Chebunyo road to the bitumen level. This came after a consultation meeting with the Kerra officers held last week in Brevan Hotel ," he said .
The beacons have been labeled KC meaning Kyogong- Chebunyo followed by the beacons number. The team were on board the contract black double cab. Real works to commence in a few.
