Ahead of the much awaited August 2022 General Elections, Mount Kenya region has been the talk across all political camps. This is following their large population and no presidential candidate would hate a political support from the region.
It's good to note that, President Uhuru Kenyatta is the current kingpin of the said Mount Kenya region.Picture for illustrative purpose.
The region is arguably the 'determinant' for any politician focusing in succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta. This has as well been observed by Senior Lawyer Wahome Thuku and through his facebook page, he had the following to say.
"Surely, there must be something good and big we have done to become a liked nation by the same people who we politically deferred a few years ago." reads part of his facebook postPicture for illustrative purpose.
His bold and timely observations attracted lots of reactions where different Kenyans gave different views and opinions as captured below.Picture for illustrative purpose.
*Contextual your statement to presidential aspirants. Outside the presidential aspirants, nobody cares, everyone is too busy eking out a living to think about your people.

*You write extra ordinary truths. Communities develop and realise themselves at their own time.
