Judiciary Service Commission had summoned ten candidates for interviews to succeed retired Chief Justice David Maraga in the country. The process that took more than a week to be completed.
While speaking to Citizen TV morning show, Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa has now pointed out the mistake JSC made when conducting its selection for Chief Justice Interview. He said they should have just come with three interviewees instead of ten.
“According to me, JSC wasted time by picking ten candidates. They should have just picked 3 and proceed with the interview. The three who wowed me are William Ouko, Fred Ngatia, and Martha Koome,” he said as quoted from the live interview.
He added that the candidates picked were suppose to be the face of Kenya and therefore JSC should have taken it as the priority. On the other seven, he said most of them weren't serious even when they got the chance to be the last for the interview.
