Reknowned Pastor/Artist Munishi Speaks on Uhuru-Ruto Feud

Even as the relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto continues to completely fade away despite efforts to revive it, renowned Tanzanian pastor and artist Faustin Munishi has come out to weigh in on the same.

Through his Facebook page, Munishi, who is currently residing in Kenya, claimed he had prophesied of a looming bitter relationship between the two ten years ago when they were about to be elected into office.

According to Munishi, his prophecy of DP William Ruto being betrayed by his boss Uhuru Kenyatta has actually come to pass. He wondered if there are any possibilities for the two to come together again and have president Uhuru throw his weight behind Ruto in 2022.

This comes at a time clergy and a section of the political class have come together to steer a reunion between Uhuru and Ruto ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Ruto has already welcomed the reconciliations, saying he has no conditions for the president since they were both elected into the office together and is his boss.

However, a section of Uhuru allies have come out to spell demands the DP should meet for the two to be reconciled. According to Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, Ruto should acknowledge he has disrespected his boss Uhuru and publicly ask for an apology.

He added that Ruto should also not expect to be directly endorsed for his 2022 presidential bid by the president.

Munishi is well known for his hit gospel songs in the '90s including Malebo, Wanamwabudu Nani, Msiabudu Amerika, Yesu ni Mambo Yote among many others.
