President Uhuru Kenyatta has suffered a major blow ahead of the August 9th polls after Kariri Njama dumped the party and accused the president of only spearheading matters his personal interests. The member of parliament aspirant is clear jubilee party is dead but it has betrayed him.

Kariri Njama is clear at the moment he is shocked of what the jubilee party has turned into because it doesn't represent the interest of the people. Njama has vowed he would contest as an independent candidate ahead of the August 9th polls for he doesn't see how he will be on the ballot as a jubilee member.

Njama is shocked the jubilee party he fought hard to revive has turned it's back against him despite him using much of his resources to lead the party. He is clear he would be going as an independent member, terming the likes of Jeremiah Kioni as brokers in jubilee.

Whether Kariri Njama will manage to win the seat of member of parliament as an independent candidate, it's all but a matter of wait and see for he faces a huge challenge. It's clear Njama is also a force in Kiambaa County going by the number of votes he got in the recently concluded by-election.
