After meeting with Moses Kuria, Martha Karua has revealed that they are planning to hold a meeting on January 22, 2022. According to her the Limuru 3 conference will be focusing on uniting the people from Mt Kenya region.
" Meeting with moses kuria earlier today. Among issues discussed was holding of Limuru 3 conference on the 22nd January 2022 subject to agreement by members of Mount kenya Unity Forum" Martha Karua stated.
According to Moses Kuria they are looking for away to unity there people before they decide on who they will support and what they will get in return of supporting the person.
" We have those people like Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba who are claiming that we are selling the region to the highest bidder. I would like to state that, it' s true, we will not give our eight million votes to an outsider without knowing our stake, " he said.
According to the meeting which was held on 17 th August, Mathenge accused Kuria and his counter parts for planning to make the meeting appear like a Tanga Tanga one. He ended up confronting Kuria thus leading to the termination of the meeting.
" I was very bitter with Kuria when he tried to turn the meeting into a
Tangatanga function and I had to confront him, " Mathenge stated.
Mt Kenya politicians are currently divided with each of them having his own ambitions others are ready to vie for the presidency seat while there fellows are supporting different aspirants for the presidential seat.
According Ann waiguru she revealed that the people from the mountains were ready to support UDA party in the next elections. To her UDA enjoys much support from the people more than any part. Most of the presidential aspirants continue to make trips in to thee region while trying to look for support.
