The race to replace Kandara member of parliament Alice Wahome is currently got as a strong Jubilee candidate who was vying for the Muranga women representative seat has jumped ship and joined the ruling party. Kandara member of parliament was nominated by the sitting President to become the minister of Water.
Waithira Muthurainia is a former presenter at Inooro TV and during her interview today she cried as she begs the top leadership of the party to accept him as the candidate to succeed Alice Wahome. Waithira has revealed that she went through hell when in was in Jubilee.
"Please I urge the President and his Deputy together with UDA supporters of Kandara constituency to accept me as their candidate. I don't know what took me to Jubilee. I went through hell. I was warned by the people of Muranga every time I was campaigning. I knew I was going to lose to UDA. Please accept me. I am ready to serve the people of Muranga" Waithir says as she cries.
