President William Ruto's proposal to reintroduce BBI by establishing an office for the official opposition leader has been rejected by former Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition running mate Martha Karua, who also serves as the principle of the Narc Kenya Party.
In response to Eric Theuri's post, which stated that all Kenyans should oppose and denounce Ruto's move, Karua replied with a two-word remark.
"Spot on," Martha Karua reacted on her official Twitter account platform with these two words.
Theuri also mentioned that President William Ruto was engaged in a spectacular race to trample the Constitution before the ink on the oath he took to defend it dried up.
Karua's opposition to Ruto's plan to modify the Constitution, which is geared toward adding more members of parliament by enforcing a gender rule and creating a position of official opposition leader, is reportedly clear.
As some of Azimio la Umoja's allies appear to be opposed to the proposal, it is further asserted that Ruto himself is pressuring Kenya Kwanza lawmakers to pass the bill in parliament.
In order to devote all of his attention to his work as a peace envoyer, former president Uhuru Kenyatta is to step down from his position as Azimio chairman.
