Mama Rachel Ruto is currently in Mombasa County for an official visit. The Kenya Air Force Plane Carrying her touched down at Mombasa Soil today and Governor Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir was there to receive her.
The act by the Governor has impressed Kenyans who reacted by Praising him for putting his political affiliation aside and humbling himself to receive the First lady.
Taking to his official social media account, the Governor announced to Kenyans the arrival of the first lady as he welcomed her to the County.
"Welcoming the First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto to Mombasa. I received our First lady Mama Rachel Ruto at the Moi International Airport ahead of her official visit to our county. Karibu Mombasa Mama wa Taifa!" Reads Abdulwamad's update.
The act made Kenyans to praise the First term governor for showing Maturity and Leadership despite belonging to Azimio side which is the opposition.
