As we are preparing for the next general election that will be conducted next week on Tuesday, Independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairman honourable Wafula Chebukati has revealed that election will not take place in four wards. He added that they have suspended the elections for the MCA seats in the affected wards following the death of aspirants whom the IEBC had cleared to vie for the seat.

The affected wards includes the following;Thaana ward in Mwingi west (Kitui county), Ololmasani ward in Narok county, South gem ward in Siaya county and Utawala ward in Embakasi east constituency (Nairobi county).
The commission has also requested Kenyans who have registered as voters in various regions to start making travelling arrangement so that they will not he locked out of exercising their Democratic right.
We urge all Kenyans remain calm since elections will come and go but their peaceful coexistence should continue even after the polls
