President William Samoei Ruto and the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua are expected to tour Embu county on Sunday 4th December, 2022.
The president and his deputy are expected to preside over Embu county international thanks giving service which will take place at the university of Embu grounds.
This was revealed by Embu county governor Cecily Mbarire through an update on her social media platforms who added that the preparations are on going to ensure the event takes place without any interruption.
"To this effect, we have this morning held a planning meeting together with church leaders, members of parliament and the representatives from the university of Embu to ensure we have a seamless service," Governor Mbarire said through a statement she shared on her Facebook page.
The governor futher took the opportunity to urge the Embu county residents to come out in their large numbers on that day to attend the function and give thanks to God for making the country conduct peaceful elections on August this year.
