As the race to State House picks the pace even though Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission is yet declare the seats vacant, with politician interested for top seat navigating around the country to drum support, Migori County women representative Pamela Odhiambo has now played down politics of succession, informing ODM party is not banking so much on direct endorsement from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Through morning interview with Citizen TV, Hon Pamela Odhiambo claim, the ODM leader is his own man and the President like any other citizen can support him or fail to support his 5th Presidential bid come 2022.
"We are not banking so much on issue of direct support from President, Raila Odinga is his own man. It is okay if he supported him but it is also Okay if he didn't." Dr Pamela begun
According to her submission, the sitting President is also a Kenyan and, has his preference and would like somebody who would continue with his legacy among aspirants including UDA associate William Ruto, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper's Musyoka just by a few, but as ODM they won't bank so much, even though the two principal have worked closely since 2018 handshake.
