Waiguru was brought by a slew of MCAs from her county to a closed-door meeting with Ruto. The governor recently hinted that she would leave President Uhuru Kenyatta's side and join Ruto's "hustler nation movement."
A month ago, the former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, who has had an on-again, off-again feud with the DP, said she will "listen and perform thorough discussions" with the electorates before deciding how to proceed with the August 2022 general election.
"I can not try to be ignorant and go against my people. I can't vote myself in, I am listening to what they want. Do they want me to run for governor a second term?” she posed.
This is a huge boost to Dr William Ruto's presidential bid as she is currently considered to be one of the influential Mount Kenya vocal leaders.
Kindly share and commend.
