Kenyans Hopeful President Uhuru Might Open the Country as Covid 19 Positivity Rate Falls Below 10%

Kenyans are now hopeful that president Uhuru Kenyatta will finally open the country after today's drop in covid 19 positivity rate drop.

According to the ministry of health,from 2,515 samples tested in the last 24 hours,241 positive cases have been reported.228 were kenyans with 13 being foreigners.

For the first time in about 5 weeks, the Covid-19 positivity rate in Kenya has fallen below 10 per cent.It has dropped from 10% to 9.6%.

Kenyans now expect the president to hold a press briefing after the drop since he had hinted on considering cries from citizens who requested him to open the country as they are suffering under the current economic crisis.

The president had earlier said the country could only be opened if the positivity rate of the virus reaches below 10%.

During the last corona virus update,the president issued strict containment measures in the 5 counties in the one zoned area.
