President Uhuru Kenyatta has been going through a tough period of time in recent days. That is because all eyes have been looking at him for the decisions made on the increasing cases of the corona virus pandemic. On his part, the Head of State has been trying as much as possible to keep his people safe but the problem is that some of his decisions have been criticized by the members of the general public at times.
Today, President Uhuru Kenyatta's government made another tough decision that left many people in the country talking. That is because they came to a decision of banning all the private vaccines in the country thus ending the long debates of the Sputnik vaccine in the country.
That was enough to make Lord Abraham Mutai inquire about the proponents of the Dinlars Pharma, a company that imported Sputnik vaccine into the country. Raila Odinga's ally Ledama Olekina who seemed to be frustrated by the banning of Sputnik vaccine was quick to respond, with his response leaving Kenyans talking.
According to the Narok senator, the proponents of that company are Kenyans of Asian Origin and one Kikuyu person.
"Kenyans of Asian Origin and one Kikuyu! Who pay taxes and who the Pharmacy and Poisons board approved to import the vaccine! The CS confirmed that they followed due process of the law! Change of heart is disturbing." Tweeted Ledama Olekina.
