"UDA Has Changed Our Political Landscape" Karungo Wa Thang'wa Speaks on Why He Joined Ruto's Camp

Kiambu Senatorial aspirant Karungo Wa Thang'wa has praised Deputy President William Ruto's hustler nation stating that it has changed the political discussion across the country.

Thang'wa argues that gone are the days that political parties came up with manifestos, and are now inclined to ideologies that goes hand in hand with the needs of the ordinary voter.

Speaking on TV 47 yesterday evening, Thang'wa stated that he joined UDA due to its focus to uplifting the lives of Kenyans adding that he looked at the ideologies being fronted by the team, and was satisfied they resonate with his ambitions.

"Poeple move from one party to another due to the philosophies and ideologies of the other party. It is the first time in this Republic of Kenya that we are having parties come up with ideologies."

He added, "A good example is UDA that has come with the Bottom-up economic approach, and has diverted the politics to positions of power, tribal chiefs or who is who."

He further revealed that he had a conversation with the constituents before joining the hustler nation, and is confident to win the UDA's ticket and succeed in unseating Senator Kimani Wamatangi.
