Ongoing Bonchari By-election: Here is What You Should Know

Bonchari Constituency's was before represented in Parliament by John Oroo Oyioka who was elected in 2017 under the People's Democratic Party(PDP).

The legislator died at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu on February 15th, 2021 after a long illness. He was later buried at his Suneka rural home on February 26th, 2021.

Today, the people of Bonchari are in a By-election trying to pick a new person as their Member of Parliament.

Oimeke Robert Pavel Obwoto of Orange Democratic Movement(ODM).

Oroo Teresa Bitutu of the United Democratic Alliance(UDA).

Opore Zebedeo John who is using the Jubilee Party.

Mogaka Charles Ndege - Progressive Party of Kenya(PPOK).
