According to Kanini Kega, he has said that tomorrow the Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader will be taking his Azimio la Umoja campaigns to Mt Kenya East issuing fresh details.
The Kieni Legislator has reported that the meeting is well-planned naming among the host Meru Governor Kiaraitu Murungi, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Hon Peter Munya, and Igembe North MP Hon Maoka Maore.
"Mt. Kenya East tuko kesho kukaribisha the 5th! Our hosts are Gov. Hon Kiraitu Murungi, CS Peter Munya, Hon Maoka Maore among others! Baba uko Karibu Kwa Mlima!" Kanini Kega has posted on his Facebook.
The move by the former Prime Minister is a continuous push for peace and unity ahead of the year 2022 in ensuring he unites all Kenyans irrespective of tribe ahead of the general elections.
However, as the ODM leader visit the region. Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi had recently said that as the region they will be engaging all Presidential candidates to see who they will support.
Adding that they will only rally their support behind that leader who will consider the interests of their community.
