MP David Pkosing who is the deputy party leader of the Kenya Union Party (KUP) has thrown his weight behind the Azimio leader Raila Odinga. The vocal South Pokot leader has also dismissed the claims by his party leader John Lonyangapuo that KUP is not going to support Raila during the planned rallies that are to begin tomorrow on Wednesday at Kamukunji Grounds. The MP said that Kenyans do not need to panic over the planned rallies.
Pkosing said that the claims by Lonyangapuo are just his personal views and the party is firmly in Azimio. He said that the former West Pokot governor statement is not valid and KUP will not leave Azimio any time soon. The MP was reacting to the sentiments that were made by the former leader that the planned countrywide demonstrations are a threat to the political stability of the nation. He said that what he understands is that Raila has not called for demostrations but public consultations. He said that Raila Raila has not committed any crime by calling for public participations.
