One key rule is the need to focus on political dimensions( supporters ) and classify them according to what they bring to the table and their significance depending on the kind of political system we have in Kenya.
Voters remain a huge support base unfortunately insignificant in making one a leader and Gideon Moi knows how to get it. He is using the One Kenya Alliance to achieve that and looks like he has the upper hand in that coalition.
The next comes the influential support base, these are members of parliament and other government departments like IEBC and Judiciary. These people have little in making one a leader but very influential in having one stay in power and implement the agenda of the deep state (next support base). In our political system, corruption indeed empowers but absolute corruption empowers absolutely. Members of Parliament and any department in government only need a fat wallet to implement anything they need and this is why the incumbent is damn ready to do this for the sake of his political successor Gideon Moi.
The final people one needs to attain power, are the essentials supporters or the so-called Deep state. They can either make one President or destroy the career of politicians. They are ready to buy any influential person to sing their tune and only loyal to their interest. This is where the Kenyatta family comes in and most probably today's meeting with Raila Odinga, the most influential politician, was to buy him or bully him into accepting a "Gideon Moi Tosha" kind of declaration.
He is the only key supporter needed to activate the rule ruling rulers and the choice of their successors especially by the deep state and their interests considering the kind of political system we have in Kenya. Indeed the political landscape is changing and the actors are busy communicating with one another publicly in secrets.
