The new polls from Mizani has shown that Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga will possibly beat his political opponents including Deputy president William Ruto, ANC leader ,Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka combined if the August 9th Presidential Elections were held today.
Tuko.co.ke reporting the polls,they said that mizani polls were based on the questions they asked Nairobi residents to choose Between Raila ,Musyoka, Musalia and Ruto if the presidential contest was carried today,January 21st. The result shows Raila Odinga who is going for the fifth time garnering 40.1% and only candidate getting above 40% mark in this polls.
Surprisingly, UDA party leader and presidential aspirant for August 9th Presidential Elections, Deputy president William Ruto came second by getting 31.4 % followed by Musalia Mudavadi who came in third position with 3.4% and Musyoka came fourth with 2.5%.
Unfortunately, 3.4% of the respondents chose to name different candidates who are not among the named above. 18.3% of Nairobi residents chose to remain undecided during the polls. This shows how Raila Odinga is still a preferred candidate to cary the day during August 9th Presidential Elections followed closely by Deputu president William Ruto.
