Two Latest Opinion Polls Shows How Ground In Kikuyu Has Shifted Against Kenya Kwanza

The 2022 election is underway and in Kiambu County, the competition is tight. William Kabogo of Tujibebe and Kimani Wamatangi of UDA are believed to be frontrunners ahead of elections in August. However, the two leaders were led by Deputy President William Ruto in Kenya Kwanza before Kabogo changed his mind and took out Gachagua, posing a threat to the UDA party.

Today, I want us to focus on the latest poll conducted in Kiambu District and more specifically Kikuyu Leaders. The first poll showed that Kimani Ichungwah of the UDA party had an approval rate of 64%, followed by the Jubilee party with an approval rate of 22%. However, another poll released yesterday indicated that Kimani Ichungwah's popularity has dropped from 60% to 46.3%. Stephen Kigathi rose 30.3%. Owen Ndungu's popularity also increased by 14.1%.

This shows that the popularity of Ruto's UDA group in Kikuyu has decreased significantly and Raila's popularity in the Jubilee group is increasing.

Do you think William Ruto is losing his position in the Kikuyu constituency?
