The Orange Democratic Movement party leader and his son Raila Junior paid a visit to an old man by the name of Daniel Gachukia aged 93 years hours before attending his mega rally of Azimio la Umoja at Murang'a.
Daniel Gachukia and his wife professor Eddah Gachukia are the founders of the Riara group of schools including Riara University. The old grandparents are connected to Raila Odinga since his son Raila Junior has married from the family. Yvonne Wambui who is Raila's son wife refers to Daniel and her wife Eddah as her grandparents. Raila had a good time with the family.
After the visit, the former prime minister is expected to address the residents of Murang'a county at Ihura Stadium where he will be holding his Azimio la Umoja rally. Different political leaders and aspirants from Murang'a and the nation at large are now gracing the occasion for a mega event.
