The next general election which is planned to happen on August this year is now moving closer as leaders work hard in their campaigns. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the Azimio La Umoja team are expected to have a joint rally today in Nyeri county where they will selling their agenda to the residents.
The Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Hon Raila Odinga and his running mate Hon Martha Karua are expected to address the residents at different destinations in Nyeri county starting from Chaka. Raila Odinga will be accompanied by several leaders who agreed to work with him in the coming general election. They include the Kieni member of parliament Hon Kanini Kega, Hon Kimani Ngunjiri, Nyeri governor Hon Ephraim Maina among other leaders.
The residents of Nyeri county are urged to maintain peace among each other during this time of campaign where leaders are moving across the country to finalize their agenda. Remember to be keen while electing leaders in the next general election.
