Uhuru Kenyatta is the fourth president of the republic of Kenya. He is the son to the first president of Kenya Jomo Kenyatta. The current president is set to retire from active politics following the 2022 August elections.
He has served as the president for two terms since 2013. The retirement residence for this prominent leader is stirring a national debate and several regions are showing interest to host him.

1. Ichaweri Home
Ichaweri home is president Uhuru remote home located in Kiambu county. Since 2018 this house has been undergoing renovation under strict security. The roads which are adjacent to this home have also been renovated. This home was used by his father late President Jomo Kenyatta while in power.
2. State house neighbourhood
President Uhuru also owns a ksh. 700 million mansion which shares the fence with the Nairobi state house. The home is equipped with electric fencing, bullet proof glass and several offices.
3. Gicheha Farm
This farm is located in Nakuru county along the Nakuru Eldoret road. President Uhuru owns 4000 acre ranch here. When the president is off duties he usually visits there.
Mara is found in Narok county. Rumours say that President Uhuru bought 1000 acres in Oloolmongi which is adjacent to Ruto's ranch.
