Orange Democratic Movement Leader Raila Odinga has been asked to stop his now common habit of holding boardroom meetings in a bid to cling to power come 2022 general elections by one Dennis Kiplangat, a political analyst.
According to the analyst, Raila has been conducting indoor meetings with Government top officials with whom he expects that they will endorse him and make him Kenyans 5th President in the highly anticipated polls.
While speaking on TV 47 Kenya, Mr. Kiplangat asked Raila to interact with Kenyans and stop operating within offices, adding that, the Former Prime Minister plans on visiting the Rift Valley region believed to be Deputy President William Ruto`s backyard.
He asserted that Raila should find out where the problem is in Rift valley, hinting out that in so doing, he might surprise many when he milks votes from the aforementioned region in the face of the looming 2022 general elections.
“Raila plans to visit Rift Valley and I`m telling him to go and check where the problem is and you might be surprised he`ll get votes. He should stop this nonsense of boardroom meetings on how to attain power,” he said.
Raila who has not yet declared his interest official on matters 2022 Presidential race, has been slammed by a section of political leaders from ODM like Presidential hopeful, Hon. Jimmy Wanjigi who has come out in public to assert that he will vie for Presidency using he Party`s ticket.
The hopeful aspirant, further slammed Raila for allegedly taking all position within ODM party, adding that he should treat all the members with equality since they all have the rights to do anything in the party.
