Pressure to Uhuru as High Court Commands Him to Appoint The Remaining Six Judges Within 14 Days

People Daily on Twitter shared information that high court ruled that President Uhuru Kenyatta must appoint the remaining six judges within 14 days failure to which the judges will be deemed dull appointed.

This is what people Daily posted on twitter,

"Update: President Kenyatta must appoint the remaining six judges within 14 days, failure to which the judges will be deemed duly appointed - High Court rules."

High court added that presidency will also bear costs of the petition that was filed by Katiba institute to enforce declaratory orders made in February 2020 to effect that the president had violated the constitution.

This judgment in high court was delivered by a three Judge bench comprising Justices George Dulu, James wakiaga and William Musyoka.
