Result Of The Latest Opinion Poll On Kisumu Women Representative Race

Kisumu's first deputy governor Ruth Odinga would emerge victorious in the race to succeed the outgoing women representative Rosa Buyu who has since shifted her interest to Kisumu West Parliamentary seat.

According to a latest poll by Mizani Africa group, former prime minister Raila Odinga's sister would garner 59% of total votes if elections were held today.

According to the polls the Movement for Democracy and Development party candidate Valentine Anyango Otieno would come second at 30.1% if elections were held today.

The third position would be taken by the 65-year-old Granny Filgona Ayugi who is vying on deputy president William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party ticket. Filgona would get a total of 12.6%.

Those who are yet to decide stand at 2.5% while other contenders would share 0.8% of the total votes.
