Chebukati Issues New Directives After CUE Revoked Sakaja's Degree

The 2022 political race is already at its peak as the political contenders from all corners of the country Kenya are seen running up and down campaigning hunting votes for their various elective political positions as MCAs, MPs, Senators, Women Reps and Governors ahead of the polls.

The presidential race on the other hand is not left behind as the top contenders for the forthcoming presidency race are seen roaming across the streets of the country Kenya seeking votes to inherit the top seat that is set to remain vacant in August when President Kenyatta who is currently serving his last term shall officially retire.

Among those leaders salivating for the presidency seat, the former prime minister Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga and his counterpart the Kenya Kwanza Alliance flag bearer Honorable William Samoei Ruto appear to be the top contenders for the forthcoming presidency race.

This is due to the fact that they have made inroads for their political parties in many parts of the country Kenya making them more popular than other presidential candidates who are also eyeing for the top seat.

Ruto's KKA had been experiencing hard times following the degree saga of Honorable Sakaja. To clear air on this, the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati dismisses the letter that was written by the CUE revoking Sakaja's degree certificate and directed the printing of ballot papers to continue. This means Sakaja will be on the ballot on ninth of August 2022.

This was a sigh of relief for the UDA party and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance fraternity who were worried about their gubernatorial candidate.
