William Ruto, the Deputy President, was in Nyandarua County. He was accompanied by other elected Leaders. Dr Ruto was at St. Joseph catholic church in Rurii, Ol kalou Nyandarua County, for a church service. As well as a thankfulness for the homecoming celebration for Francis Githaiga Muraya, the recently elected MCA for Rurii ward. The Deputy President was the chief guest in this event.
Nyandarua county women's representative Faith Gitau hosted the Deputy President William Ruto. MCA Muraya Githaiga of the Rurii ward, Honorable Faith Gitau, the bishops, and church members welcomed the Deputy President. Deputy President William Ruto was greeted with pomp and cheers from congregation.
The Deputy President has been going round the Mountain in a bid to woe the region to vote for him in 2022. Other Presidential candidates have also started going round the counties seeking the support of elected Leaders.
Amani party leader Musalia Mudavadi was also in Nyandarua in a charm offensive tour where he rubbished Dr Ruto's model of approach. In the coming days, the country will witness political theatrics until when elections will be held next year.
