Ukambani MP Sends Good News to Azimio Supporters Hours After Kalonzo Jetted Back to The Country

Few hours after the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka jetted back to the country from his London trip, Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule has shared some good news to the supporters of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

Speaking with Kamba local media station, Mutongoi TV, on Saturday evening, Mule revealed that there will be a meeting that will bring forth Kalonzo, President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Azimio's flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua among other leaders.

Although he did not divulge more on the main agenda or other issues to be discussed during the meeting, he noted that the overall aim will be to streamline the affairs of the coalition ahead of the August polls.

He however said that a team with Raila, Karua and Kalonzo with the support of President Kenyatta will deliver a win in the August polls, and thus their supporters should remain calm for direction any time from now.

Defending the Wiper's move to submit documents required for Kalonzo's presidential bid to IEBC, Mule argued that it was a mandate given to the party during the National Delegates Conference, adding that Kalonzo was also given a mandate to negotiate and talk with like minded leaders and parties and join a coalition.

Mule's sentiments comes few days after religious leaders, professionals, Wiper aspirants and other leaders requested Kalonzo to reconsider his decision of going for the presidency, arguing that the Kamba Nation can only achieve its interests under the Azimio Camp where he has been assigned the Chief Cabinet Secretary position.
