As the country heads to the August 9th 2022 general election, Deputy President William Ruto has been pushing hard for his presidential bid and his UDA party members who are vying for different elective seats to be elected. He has been popularizing his party but some of his candidates like Johnson Sakaja, Karungo Thangwa and others have been facing challenges of being kicked out by IEBC.
In fact, Karungo Thangwa was kicked out by Wafula Chebukati's IEBC during the clearing period but today, celebrations and jubilation rocked DP William Ruto's camp as IEBC was finally ordered by the High Court to clear Karungo Thangwa to vie for the Kiambu senator race.
According to Nation Africa through their official telegram page, High Court Judge ruled that there is no evidence of graft that led to the removal of aspirant from office therefore, Karungo Thangwa remains innocent and thus, he should be cleared to run for the seat of his dream.
