The government is already issuing the huduma namba cards in a pilot project and many Kenyans feel like they have been forgotten. However, the government announced that for one to know that his or her huduma namba card is ready, he or she will receive a message from Huduma Kenya. This message is precise and its main aim is to tell you that your huduma namba card is ready and you have to collect it in a specified station as indicated.
So far, only a small percentage of the people who have received this message have collected the huduma namba cards. Earlier this month, the government spokesperson, Cyrus Oguna urged all Kenyans who have received the message to make effort and collect their huduma namba cards.
According to my opinion, I think the government should introduce a code for Kenyans to use in confirming if their huduma namba cards are ready. This will reduce the anxiety they have.
