According to a post by Kithure Kindiki a few minutes ago, the second in command made a triumph entry to the coastal town of Taita Taveta where hundreds of locals made their way to their rallies in a bid to popularize the UDA presidential candidate in the August polls.
According to his post, Governors from Machakos and Kwale were part of the team that made an appearance to the venue of the meeting. The two having played a key role in ensuring that Ruto becomes president of Kenya in the coming primaries which have been taunted to be among the most competitive in recent history.
Machakos boss who recently defected has been on the run to campaign for the deputy president just a few days after announcing his exit from the Azimio team. The team has been so keen on ensuring that the Azimio team does not win in the coming polls.
