"No Gimmicks" Murkomen Under Fire As Miguna And Danstan Omari Go After Murkomen Over SGR contract

Attorney Miguna Miguna is now requesting that Kipchumba Murkomen, the cabinet secretary for transport, keep his commitment to Kenyans.

During his background investigation, Murkomen had pledged to reveal the highly confidential standard gauge railway (SGR) contract.

Murkomen offered to disclose the commercial contract, but instead just posted the first three pages of the agreement.

Miguna now requests that the Transport CS fulfill its promise to Kenyans to deliver the commercial contract.

"My friend Kipchumba Murkomen must fulfill his undertaking to Kenyans. No excuses. No gimmicks," he stated.

More concerns were raised by some members of the public when attorney Ahmednasir Abdullahi claimed that Murkomen had actually provided the SGR agreements and not the contract.

"Not at all the SGR contract. One of the finance agreements is this one. The SGR contract is explosive, but it's hard to see "Tweeted the city attorney.

Using the phrase "true disclosure of SGR contracts include those of management and commission involving Kenya Railways, China Road and Bridge Corporation, and Africa Star Railway Operations Company," attorney Donald Kipkorir referred to what Murkomen had disclosed as hot air. These are the contracts where billions of dollars were spent; other contracts are flimsy red herrings.
