The Azimio coalition has declared war against President Ruto's government , if he does not reverse his decision to do away with social protection programs that President Uhuru Kenyatta had put in place.
According to available source of News,the Leader of Minority in the National Assembly Opiyo Wandayi has threatened that their party will call for country wide demonstration if he does not restore their demand.
Organizing demonstration across the country will not only jeopardize the economy but also destruct daily activities of other people.The demonstration might turn chaotic as many people may get injured.We hope that the government resolves before its too late.
Programes that saw most elderly people receive some small amount of money every month, for upkeep ,went silent just after elections.Also the Linda Mama money that was meant for mother that gave birth has also been dimmed by the government.
However,its good for the government to ensure that the programme is re instated to help these families.Its fair to not that most elderly people depended on the cash for few basic needs.
