"I'll be The Last Person to Stand With Ruto," Vocal Women Rep Says a Day After Meeting Murathe, Tuju

Garissa Women Representative Anab Subow Gure has reaffirmed her undying support to the Deputy President William Ruto, a day after she met Jubilee party vice Chair David Murathe and the Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

Taking to her social media pages on Thursday, Gure stated that she she hopes to be the last person who will be left standing in support of the second in command.

"And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.”– Mark A. If there will be one last person standing with @WilliamsRuto, then I want to be that person.." she said.

Her remarks comes after she was spotted with Murathe and Tuju at the Jubilee party headquarters in Pangani yesterday when the ruling party issued certificates to their preferred candidates on forthcoming by-elections in Garissa, Juja and Bonchari.

Gure who is among Jubilee members supporting the United Democratic Alliance, UDA accompanied the aspiring Garissa Senatorial candidate Abdulkadir Mohamed Yussuf Hajji .

"Together with other leaders we have accompanied Yussuf Hajji to receive his nomination certificate from the @JubileePartyK for the Garissa Senatorial seat that fell vacant following the death of the late Senator Yussuf Hajji. All the best Abdul Haji..."

The vocal Member of Parliament is among North Eastern politicians who have been supporting the DP and has been observed to maintain her stand despite facing rebellion from few of her colleagues from the region.
