- A meeting has been reportedly held in the region where grassroot leaders have agreed to install Martha Karua as their spokesperson.

Speaking to local Tv stations live from Naivasha, Martha Karua says as the region, they will be represented, not only in presidential race but also in other agencies like security, revenue collection among other spheres of life.
She says, this is not limited to presidential race but also the permanent interest of the community as a whole and other regional issues, which she details, need to be addressed.
Gatundu South Member Of Parliament Hon Moses Kuria was also present at the event.
The outspoken legislator, Kuria added that he supports Martha Karua.
He further revealed that the meeting unanimously has chosen Martha Karua as the regional spokesperson.
