Impressive CV Held By The Newly Elected Female IEBC Vice-Chairperson (Photos)

The chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has been leading the commission without a deputy after the departure of Consolata Nkatha who resigned in April 2018. However, earlier today Chebukati revealed that the elections agency has elected Juliana Cherera unanimously as the new vice-chairperson during a meeting held on Tuesday.[Photo courtesy]

Juliana holds an impressive CV having worked as a trained teacher having attained a Bachelor of Education (Arts) specializing in Kiswahili and Geography. She also holds a Masters in Education majoring in Leadership and management, a diploma in project management at Kenya Institute of Management and a diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD). She has also pursued several government courses at the Kenya School of Government where she enrolled for a Senior Management Course (SMC) and Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP).[Photo courtesy]

She posses a lot of experience in matters management having worked as a Chief Accounting Officer at the Mombasa County government. She was in charge of the County Attorney's office as well as leading the county media department. Prior to her appointment, she was running a mentorship and education sponsorship program for young women and girls which made sure girls from less privileged homes were accessing education. Additionally, she worked as a trained teacher for over 13 years first at Bohora School in Mombasa, Islamic Teachers Training College and Kajebe High School. [Photo courtesy]
