The Elgeyo Markwet boss Alex Tolgos has joined Raila Odinga’s 2022 support team saying he is the best person to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022. This has brought alot of confusion because many people knows that rift valley people are supporting Ruto for the coming election.
The governor was saying those words in Moiben during the burial of Susan Tiren mother to area MP Silas Tiren on Saturday September 18 made it clear that he had joined Odinga’s ODM team and that he owes no one an explanation to that effect.
He added that those who are opposed to his democratic right once worked with ODM Party and no one complained about it.
He spoke this in the presence of Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto.
On his part, Senator Murkomen used the opportunity to drum up support for William Ruto saying there is dire need for the community to stand with their own in the next general elections.
Murkomen also seized the opportunity to attack proponents of the flopped BBI draft Bill which he said was not important for the country.
Do you think this will affect Ruto popularity in rift valley region? leave your comment below the article.
